INDUSTRIES

Every industry, the way patent offices sort them

The Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC), used by the European and US patent offices, sorts every patent into 9 sections, 137 classes and 681 subclasses. Each subclass is a page here, with the same map, timeline and patents as a field briefing. We import them a part at a time, a little every week, so many are still empty.
